Matt Toone

President and CEO of Anova

An accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in industrial technology, Matt Toone joined Anova as CEO in 2022. Over his tenure, Matt has overseen Anova's rapid growth and expansion to become the global leader of industrial IoT monitoring solutions, including overseeing the introduction and scaling of the HaaS solution offering and the development and implementation of new, best-in-class hardware and software platforms. Prior to Anova, Matt was the President and CEO to Bacharach, a provider in clean-tech solutions for gas and refridgerant leak detection. Prior to Bacarach, Matt spent 11 years at Emerson, where he held a variety of executive leadership roles across Cooper Atkins, Vilter, and the group's Cold Chain platform.

Matt partnered with Aurora in 2026 to accelerate growth through new investments to drive customer adoption and product innovation, further international expansion, and strategic M&A. In addition to his team at Aurora, Matt partnered with independent director Martin Carter.
